Governor Pogi expresses his gratitude to a group of philanthropist

In line with the celebration of the 39th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week which was conducted from July 17-23, a group of philanthropist was commended by Governor Amado “Pogi” Espino III for their donation of 20 units of wheelchair and 300 books for the different-abled sector in Pangasinan.

It is recalled that Pangasinan Provincial Government has been conducting various activities for the different-abled such as the Sports fest held last summer. Events such as the awarding of winners for the search for the most functional Stimulation Therapeutic Activity Center (STAC), awarding of assistive devices like pedia wheelchairs and walkers for children with disability, PWD Summit, and Personality Development Training for Women with Disability will be the highlighted activities prepared by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO).
