30M fund for Dagupan City slaughter house in 2018

Dagupan City Mayor Belen Fernandez confirmed that she will allocate fund worth P30 Million for the opening of a new slaughter house in Bonuan Binloc in the year 2018.

Meat vendors clapped their hands as they heard the announcement of Mayor Belen Fernandez during their meet up. Tebeng slaughter house has been closed for years and it’s been a long time request of the vendors to have their own slaughter house.

Consultation is still ongoing on the said establishment to ensure no harm on people and the environment. Dagupan City Veterinarian Dr. Michael Maramba also supported the construction of the said slaughter house.
