Administration wins Dagupan City Hall transfer

Councilor Red Mejia and Mayor Belen Fernandez debated one last time about the controversial transfer of Dagupan City hall to Barangay Pantal on July 1, 2017 at the Dagupan City museum. The administration defended the plan through enumerating the benefits of the said transfer leading to the success of Sangguniang Panglungsod.

While the councilors and Mayor Belen Fernandez were having a formal discussion of the last barangay consultation, Dagupeños who are against the decision united and roamed around downtown area carrying placards as they voiced out their disappointment with the administration.

The protesters were joined by Councilor Red Mejia after the hearing and said that he respects the decision of the majority but he is still against the plan.
