Dagupan as Most Child-Friendly City

Dagupan City received its third Most Child-Friendly City award in Region I for this year last June 27, 2017.

Mayor Belen T. Fernandez, along with the city officials, attended the ceremony that was held in Baguio City. The regional evaluation committee was composed of different government agencies led by the Department of Social Welfare and Development for choosing Dagupan as a recipient of this award.

In 2014 and 2015, Dagupan received the Presidential award as Most Child -Friendly City in the Philippines. Dagupan raised significant projects like Oplan Paliligo that provides free bath for children and indigent families. More than 6,000 children were benefited by the project.
