Dagupan inaugurates Fish Processing Facility

Dagupan City government, together with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Agriculture, has inaugurated the first Fish Processing Facility in Dagupan City last June 20, 2017.

Mayor Belen T. Fernandez expressed her gladness as she visited another project of the city government. The Fish Processing Facility in Malimgas Public Market offers deboning, vacuum, smoking and freezing handling on fish products.

According to Mr. Tomas Shapno, Inspector of Deboning Area, maintaining cleanliness in the work area is one of the best training they can be proud of. He also added that the workers of their facility were trained free by the DTI.

Smoked fish liked Tinapa is one of leading products they offer in the facility.

The Fish Proccessing Facility is now open and ready for export.
