ECIS ready for Earthquake

(“Drop, Cover and Hold” this was the student of ECIS do when the bells ring at exactly 2:30 in the afternoon, they also went to the open field of the school with presence of mind and relaxed environment.)

In respond to the DepEd Memorandum entitled 2nd Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill 2017, East Central Integrated School in Dagupan City conducted annual earthquake drill last June 29, 2017.

According to Vincent P. Pasac, SSG President, they are now ready when earthquake strikes the city. Knowing proper way and taking the right action is a big advantage to them as a student as well as rescuing the casualties. They learned the proper way to drop, cover and hold, and making improvise first aid equipment. It is amust to always remember the lessons learned from the drill and the right thing to do, Pasac added.

EICS Planning and Research Head Verena Bautista also said that Presence of mind is one of the best key to do during this kind of situation.

Over all the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill in East Central Integrated School is a job well done.
