Go Skateboarding Day in Pangasinan 2017

Skaters around the province of Pangasinan gathered together at the CSI Stadia, Dagupan City on June 24, 2017 for the Go Skateboarding Day. It is a competition for amateur and professional skateboarders where they compete for the push parade, highest ollie, highest hippie jump, longest gap, kick flip challenge, best trick, and skate film show. This annual celebration of skateboarders around Pangasinan is not only for fun and competition but this is also their way of changing the general public’s perception of skateboarders. They want to share the joy and sense of fulfilment in skateboarding to their loved ones. Sociologists also suggest that this can be a diversion for youth to be away from illegal drugs and gambling.
