Job fair held in Mangaldan, Pangasinan

A job fair was conducted at Macario Ydia Development Center in Mangaldan, Pangasinan which was headed by Mayor Bonafe De Vera Parayno. The job-seeking event was sponsored by the Local Government Unit and in cooperation with the Department of Labor and Employment.

“In preparation of this job fair, we had massive information dissemination to the constituents and conducted ‘Bantay Barangay’ wherein I’m one of the discussants, emphasizing to the people that there will be a job fair,” said Soledad Rosario, Public Employment Service Office Manager in Mangaldan.

“The purpose of this job fair is to let the job seekers be employed for them to have the opportunity to be placed in a company. Also, we could not prevent other job seekers of other municipalities to come here,” Soledad added.

This was the first time that a job fair was held in Mangaldan and the second round of job fair will be scheduled by November or December this year.
