Keep Calm: How to feel comfortable on examination days

We all know that “hell week” is a very popular term by millennial nowadays. This means examination week is fast approaching and we need to remember the topics that our teachers taught us.

How to feel comfortable before the examination?

Here are some tips for you not to be tense before and during the “hell week”.

Get some sleep.

Sleep is very important. You must have six hours of it. Be sure that you are well rested before you answer the questions on your examination paper. It helps you to focus and understand what is being asked.

Eat a balanced diet.

You must always remember that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It gives you enough energy to start the day.

Breakfast with high fiber and carbohydrates can boost your energy. Loosing energy during the examination will result to loss of concentration and can make you panic.

Familiarize yourself with the examination room.

Having a simple visit on the examination room will help you to be comfortable during examination.

Study with friends.

Two brains are better than one. You can identify the lesson you forget by means of your friends. Asking them questions from your reviewer is a good idea too but please lessen your chit chat moments and concentrate on the topic that you need to review or study.

Write down insecurities.

In a piece of paper, write down the bad memories you have encounter during your past examinations. For example, you failed the exam or did not meet up your expectations. Write it and throw it away. This approach can build your confidence and motivate you to succeed.
