PIA launches first ASEAN kiosk

In line with the upcoming 50th anniversary of Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN), Philippine Information Agency of Region I launched the first ASEAN kiosk in Pangasinan on June 22, 2017 at Robinsons Place Calasiao, Pangasinan. The ASEAN kiosk will strengthen the belief of the youth about the association. Robinsons Place Calasiao provided free installation and power consumption of the kiosk. The launching was spiced up by a fashion show of students wearing the traditional clothes of all the members of ASEAN. University of Luzon Chamber of Chorus serenaded the audience with a powerful performance together with the UL Theatre and Dance Company who also gave a refreshing cultural dance number. The said event was graced with the presence of Calasiao Municipal Administrator Alfredo Nipal, OIC Jennifer De Mesa of the Department of Foreign Affairs, and PIA-Pangasinan Center Manager Venus Sarmiento. Students and Faculty members of STI-Dagupan and Señor Tesoro Academy and College also participated in the launching.
