CENPELCO receives complaints

Central Pangasinan Electric Cooperative Inc. (CENPELCO) received several questions and complaints during their regular weekly session with the Sual Municipal Council last July 21, 2017, Friday.
Complaints were raised during the session from Barangay Power Association (BAPA) of Barangay Cabalitian asking the development of their petition which already took nine years and still unresolved.
Jessie Peralta, Cabalitian Barangay council and BAPA President, has requested CENPELCO to remove their barangay in BAPA system where there is just one electric meter for 140 member consumers for almost ten years. The members are asking to have one meter per consumer for them to pay what they have just consumed.
“We will act accordingly,” said Rizalinda Reyes, Engr. Joaquin Resultan, and Engr. Concepcion Curaming who represented Engr. Rodrigo Corpuz, the CENPELCO General Manager.
CENPELCO assured that they will respond properly with adjustments and correction of errors to the request submitted to them and in a manner consistent with the decision or decree of CENPELCO directors. They also made an apology for their shortcomings.
Vice Mayor Jong Caburao also served as a mediator in the meeting and presiding officer.
