BFAR: No more red tide in Pangasinan
All types of shellfish and seafood from City of Alaminos and municipality of Bani, Bolinao, Anda, and Sual in the province of Pangasinan are free from toxic and red tides and safe to eat according to Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR).
As precautionary measures, Local Government Unit (LGU) appointed their market inspectors, quarantine officers, and administrator to request the business sectors to have their auxiliary invoice from point of origin or local transport permit issued by BFAR in any kinds of fishery products and other kinds of seafood to ensure that their products are not positive from Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning.
Meanwhile, BFAR is still monitoring oceans and streams to ensure the health of the citizens.
