Fish Bone Artist

Jessica Lopez, a resident of Binmaley, Pangasinan, is born to be a legend.

Lopez started her passion in fish bone art when she attended a seminar in Ifugao. The process of this kind of art requires big amount of patience. You need to clean the bones, let it dry, and use bleach to make it clear and sturdy.

Jose Evangelista, Jessica’s father, supports her daughter’s passion by collecting fish bones from Dagupan City’s bangus deboners. Jessica said that this art that she has fallen in love with is not easy. It takes a lot of time but she enjoys it.

She is now establishing her name in the art industry and showing the world that you can use anything to make an art.
