JJDVSMHS joins seminar and journalism workshop

Participants from Judge Jose De Venecia Senior Memorial High School (JJDVSMHS) attended a seminar and journalism workshop on August 3, 2017 where students from grades 7 to 12 learned about responsible journalism and news writing.

The event was participated by GMA RTV’s Balitang Amianan senior desk, Miss Glam Calicdan Dizon and reporter, Joanne Ponsoy. They inspired the aspiring journalists on news gathering and news writing.

Miss Agnes Bacugan, Education Supervisor in-charge in English Campus Journalism, told their campus journalists to maximize their reading habit because this is where they can learn a lot in writing. Teachers also encouraged their students to attend this kind of seminars to prepare them for the future.
