17 barangays join Buntis Congress 2017

Pregnant mothers from 17 barangays received consultations, vitamins, and lectures on how to be healthy during pregnancy in the Buntis Congress held on August 22, 2017 at Don Tranquilino Celeste Municipal Auditorium, Agno, Pangasinan.

“The need of pregnant mothers is the main objective of this congress. We also want that they will have a healthy and smooth delivery,” said Councilor Larry P. Sagun, the chairman of Committee on Health in the municipality.

The program was led by Agno Municipal Mayor Joel N. Pajeta, Jr. and Vice Mayor Wilson N. Rosete. The representatives from Department of Health (DOH) Region I, Provincial Health Office (PHO), Western Pangasinan District Hospital (WPDH), and the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Agno were also present in the event.
