5 dead, 11 injured in a transportation accident

Five passengers were dead while 11 were injured after a jeepney accidently bumped an electricity post in Kawit , Cavite on September 6, 2017 along the highway of Barangay Tabon 3.

Identified dead passengers were: Lorena Isaias, Lorena Purification, Malanie Macalalad, Christian Pallera, and Florjane Archivida.

According to the Chief Inspector of Kawit Police, Dhefry Punzalan, the driver, Emmanuel Genzole, drove recklessly until the break of the transportation vehicle did not work properly. The injured passengers and Genzole were rushed to the Divine Grace Hospital to be cured.
