Seventy units of colorum and without decal tricycles were caught and impounded in the surprise operation by Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) officers in the Oplan Zero Colorum.

According to POSO Chief Carlito Ocampo, they will conduct this operation regularly until there will be no more colorum and without decal tricycle in the city. The POSO also aims to minimize the traffic caused by the colorum tricycles for the welfare of the community.

Colorum operation bears fine of P1, 000 for 1st offense, P3, 000 for 2nd offense, and 5000 for 3rd offense with a P400/day impounding fee.

Ocampo also reminded the public not to patronize these colorum and without decal tricycles.
