Bells sound for petition

Due to the results of illegal drug killings, the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan and Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) will clang the bells of the churches to show petition to the death of crimeless persons.

The said clanging of bells will start at eight o’clock in the evening and will lasts for 15 minutes. It started on the evening of August 21 until November 27 in line with the celebration of Feast of Virgen de la Medalla Milagrosa.

Also, the clank of the church bells will serve as a wakeup call to everyone to stop illegal killings in the country.
