City of Alaminos welcomes the delegates of 37th JCI Area 1 Conference

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Hundred Islands President Jan Marionne Fontelera and City of Alaminos Mayor Arthur Celeste expressed their warm gratitude to the delegates of 37th JCI Area 1 Conference on September 1, 2017 at Don Leopoldo Sison Convention Center.

The three-day conference was hosted by JCI Hundred Islands. The symposium aims to make the young leaders to be more committed in rendering their share in protecting the eco marine through a mangrove potting activity at Bued Eco Park and be agents of positive change in their respective communities through experiencing the Hundred Islands of the city.

A motorcade along the main streets of the city marks the opening of the conference followed by public speaking and debate training. The selection for Miss JCI Area 1 was the event’s highlight which made the opening more glamorous and spectacular.

The City of Alaminos Local Government Unit assured 100% support to the program of JCI.
