Health officers in Pangasinan expressed their uneasiness after the rising case of leptospirosis in the province earlier this year wherein farmers and construction workers were said to be the most affected.
56 cases of leptospirosis were recorded in the Provincial Health Office, almost 50 percent higher than last year’s case.
Provincial Health Office reminded farmers and workers to wear rain boots in wading in the water to avoid leptospirosis.
