1 killed, 3 injured in a collision

There’s no more sunshine to see for a 20-year old John Jovit Dela Cruz, porter of a 10-wheeler truck, as they met an accident in Brgy. Quetegan, Mangatarem, Pangasinan wherein a truck smashed into a big bus on September 22.

According to the truck driver, he dozed off while driving and when he opened his eyes, the big bus is already approaching. He tried to hit the breaks but it was too late for it.

Rescuers rushed Dela Cruz to the hospital but he was then declared dead on arrival. Two porters and a bus passenger were injured on the mishap that happened. Aside from the physical injuries, the collision also damaged three motorcycles and a tricycle.

Cases to be filed to the truck driver are: Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Homicide, Multiple Physical Injuries, and Multiple Damage to Properties.
