Sual prohibits spear fishing

Some fishermen conducted unauthorized spear fishing in the municipal waters of Saul, Pangasinan.

Unauthorized spear fishing is a violation to the Sual Fishery Code Ordinance No. 005-2014 under Article 16 Section 90-92. It punishes any fishing activities without license and permit as well as the gathering and selling of aquarium fishes.

The coast guard of Sual, together with the Sual Municipal Agriculture Office, Sual Bantay-Dagat, BFAR, and Sual Municipal Councilor JC Arcinue, immediately conducted patrol operation within the area of responsibility.
