Las Vegas shooting incident kills 58

A shooting incident killed 58 people during an outdoor music concert in Las Vegas on October 1, 2017.


The gunman was identified as Stephen Paddock, a 64-year old retired accountant from Mesquite, Nevada. According to a witness interviewed by CNN, the firing lasted for 10 to 15 minutes.


According to reports, police found 23 weapons in Paddock’s hotel room and 19 more firearms in his house in Mesquite. Authorities believed that the weapons were purchased legally.


The FBI is also working with the Philippine government to verify Paddock’s wiring of $100, 000 in the Philippines. They are still on the process of determining the transfer details.


More than 500 people were injured in the incident.
